“New Business Valuation Terminology – Clearing
the Air on Business Valuation”
The main problem with business valuation has been the
failure of experts to agree on both the terminology
and the methods to be used in valuation of small to
medium businesses. Now we have a solution - the introduction
of the new APES 225 Business Valuation Standard. Now
valuers, accountants, business brokers and advisors
alike have a common terminology and approach, which
can be applied across ALL business valuations in this
sector.
Simon Dalgarno of Leadenhall, in conjunction with the
1Broker business broking network, will present this
informative Webinar.
In this easy to follow 90 minute online Webinar, Simon
looks at the New Valuation Terminology and answers these
questions and more. At this session you will learn:
1. What is the difference between a Valuation Approach
and a Valuation Method.
2. What is the difference between a Capitalisation of
Earnings Method, Super Profits Method and the DCF Analysis
Method?
3. How to choose the appropriate Valuation Method for
the particular case in hand.
4. Is it safe to use the DCF method?
5. What is the relevance of the Market Approach?
6. What information do you need before you can rely
on the Market Approach?

method under the new Standard?

to ensure I understand and use the
12. appropriate terminology?
