Meet the team:

Tony Arena - B.A. LL.B.

Tony is Managing Director of Business Connection International and has over 20 years' experience of business broking in one of the toughest markets in Australia - the Sydney market.

He graduated in Arts and Law from Sydney University in 1976 and since then has run his own business.

With his vast experience in the industry, Tony has lectured to and held seminars for over 500 agents, in the areas of Business Management, Retail Leases and Negotiation.

Tony is a Real Estate Institute of NSW (REI) Accredited Trainer and is respected by the industry.

Tony's experience and knowledge of the market will enhance the chances of selling your business quickly and at the price you want.

John De Cosmi

John De Cosmi joined BCI after running many successful small businesses of his own.

Through his experiences in buying and selling businesses, John has developed many skills which will help maximise your business sale price and give you a quick and smooth sale. You will find John is relentless in the search fora buyer for your business and is a consummate professional when it comes to getting best price in the marketplace for your business.

 

Bob Greenup B Sc., MBA

Bob comes to BCI with an impressive track record in managing larger businesses and operating his own small business. For six years Bob was General Manager of a major $120 million dollar turnover business, turning it around into a profitable enterprise, streamlining operations and at the same time building a culture of co-operation and harmony.

As a business owner, Bob was able to grow his own businesses, even in times of recession and consistently recorded growth of between 50% and 200% annually. Bob sold his businesses for handsome profits and handed on businesses that were then run by the new owners successfully and profitably. Bob is a proven small business operator and brings all those skills to bear when assisting you either by maximising the value of your business or proceeding to sell it.

Bob is comfortable at all levels of business sales, but prefers to operate in the $2m to $20M price range.

 

John Hughes

John Huges is a qualified Real Estate and Business Agent with 26 years of experience in all aspects of Real Estate, including formal valuations. He has run and sold his own businesses in that field.

That experience is invaluable when it comes to selling your business. John is an expert in the field of Real Estate and is also keen to help you to sell any service or retail business up the the price of $1M.

Philip Lyons B Sc. (hons), MBA

Phillip Lyons has had immense experience at coporate and small business level. For six years he was National Manager, Logistics for a top 200 Public Company with his role being to obtain quality sales and optimise profits. Phil implemented a business plan which achieved this objective. Phil transformed the division from loss maker to a proftable business in one year.

For 13 years Phil ran his own business, increasing sales and profits on an ongoing bases from inception until it was sold.

Once you meet Phil and he believes he can help you, he will sit down with you and come up with a success plan to help you to reach your business goal and objective, whether that be to maximise its business value over time or sell for the highest price right now.
